The solar evolution: Conergy’s path to the system supplier
In the fourteen years of its existence, Conergy has gained experience in all areas of the solar energy field. In the nineties, Conergy as a systems integrator bought all of its components from third parties – and installed them with its team of experts on private and commercial roofs, as well as in large solar parks.
At the turn of the century, Conergy also developed into one of the largest solar trading houses. In these times, thousands of modules, inverters and mounting systems of virtually every major brand passed through Conergy's hands.
Only a few years later the Hamburg-based experts incorporated all of these experiences into their own manufacturing – and based on that, developed modules, inverters and mounting systems.
In 2010, a specially created team, comprising of experts from research and development, has interlinked the skills from systems integration, trading house and manufacturer even more closely. The well-matched Conergy System Technology came to life instead of individual, unpaired components. Unlike such unpaired separates, the Conergy system technology offers precise, synchronised solar systems that provide Conergy customers with more performance, output and security.
The trading house developed into Conergy System Sales, the sales force of a manufacturing company, with the ability to work more intensively with the clients all around the world. Moreover, from the pure system integration, Conergy System Services developed, offering a wealth of services, from planning, engineering, financing and installation to maintenance, technical management and the insurance of all Conergy solar systems.
In all of these areas, Conergy brings together the complete knowledge and strategies from all the "solar worlds". This unique set-up makes Conergy a system supplier.
